So I just heard about this 9 yr old boy from North Carolina getting bullied over a My Little Pony backpack. Look, whether you like My Little Pony or not. Bullying is still wrong and the school board banned the kid from bringing that backpack to school.
I get that they banned his backpack because he might get bullied more for it, but I feel this should of been handled better. He should be allowed to wear his My Little Pony backpack if he wants too. Educated the children that a boy having a girl backpack doesn't make you different and shouldn't get bullied over it.
Boys can like girl stuff.
Girls can like boy stuff.
There shouldn't be a standard that boys should only like boys stuff and girls only liking girl stuff, because at the end of the day it's just stuff.
Seriously, what's so wrong about a boy liking girl stuff? Nothing, that's what. Same for little girls too.

There's nothing wrong with the boy having the backpack. Parents just need to teach their kids not to be little asses and bully other kids over being different abf liking different things.
